Nearly 30 Years of Adventure in Germantown.

Pack 367 has helped generations of boys explore, build, serve, lead and grow at Germantown Presbyterian Church — with a Scouting pathway that continues through our close partnership with Troop 270.

Our roots

A Pack with history — and plenty still ahead.

Germantown Presbyterian Church records Pack 367 as part of its community for almost 30 years. Through changing generations, leaders and activities, the basic idea has remained remarkably consistent: boys learn best by doing.

Scouting at Germantown Presbyterian

Pack 367 has introduced generations of local boys to Cub Scouting through hands-on activities, outdoor experiences, service and fellowship.

Longstanding Pack traditions documented by Germantown Presbyterian include Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, spring camping, Scouting for Food, the Germantown Holiday Parade, Scoutbase, Akela Cub and Webelos Woods.

Today, Pack 367 continues that tradition while adding new experiences that keep Scouting fresh for today's boys and families.

Troop 270 is founded in Germantown.

Pack 367 builds a longstanding Cub Scout tradition at Germantown Presbyterian.

2008

Germantown Presbyterian becomes Troop 270's charter organization.

Today

Pack 367 and Troop 270 meet on the same Monday night and share a Scouting home.

Who we are

The fun gets their attention. The culture makes families stay.

Pack 367 is built around experiences, relationships and growth. We want boys excited to come back — and families glad they came with them.

Boys are known.

Scouts should never feel like another name on a roster. We notice them, encourage them and give them meaningful ways to participate.

Families belong.

Cub Scouts is better when families share the experience. Parents build friendships while boys build theirs.

Adventure stays fresh.

Outdoor, STEM, service, competition, games and community experiences keep the year moving and give boys new things to discover.

Growth happens through doing.

Confidence, character, leadership and resilience are not lecture topics. They develop when boys build, explore, serve, struggle, adjust and try again.

We don't want Scouts merely attending meetings. We want them collecting stories.

Learning by doing

Real experiences build capable boys.

A Pack year can include rockets, camping, drone racing, climbing, archery, BB guns, Gaga Ball, Pinewood Derby, community service, first responders and plenty of simple fun with friends.

Build something — then make it better.

Try something that initially feels difficult.

Learn teamwork by actually depending on teammates.

Meet people who serve the community.

Discover that confidence usually follows action.

Pack 367 + Troop 270

One Scouting home. A path that can last for years.

Pack 367 and Troop 270 share Germantown Presbyterian Church as their Scouting home. The relationship is more than a name on a building: the units partner, cooperate and create a natural bridge from Cub Scouts into Scouts BSA.

Troop 270 partners with Pack 367 and supports important milestones, including the Arrow of Light crossover experience.
